Now this is what Van Helsing should have been, dark, gritty and extremely bloody, even the CGI was better. Don't get me wrong it is no award winner but, when you want a Sunday evening film to keep you entertained with action and a half good plot, this is a winner.
My only true criticism was Purefoy's accent, pretty poor and inconsistent.
