Review of Solomon Kane (2009) by Matt K — 25 Aug 2011

The story is somewhat lacking, but barring that this is a jolly good show: awesome fight scenes with brutal, limb severing effects, a nice soundtrack, a solid cast, and James purefoy is just bad ass! However, it's a shame that ever since lord of the rings, minions in fantasy movies have suddenly started looking exactly the same, someone please do something different really soon! I'm sick of faux-orcs appearing in every movie!

Give it a watch folks, it beats the crap outta van helsing.
