Review of Solomon Kane (2009) by Paul O — 09 Nov 2011

Terribly 'small-time' epic. I could tell exactly what was going to happen before it happened and I didn't care either. So many movies try to make their story seem important, as if the world depends on the heroes' outcome.

I'm supposed to believe Solomon was fighting to save the entire world, yet we are only shown a few small villages and a castle or two. If you want the audience to think BIG, you must give them BIG.

This movie generally and generically disappointed. Do not watch.
