Review of Solomon Kane (2009) by Leo K — 26 Aug 2013
Brutish, bloody, gory. A bit of that typical innocence is mixed in, with a flare of the good ol' good guy trying to save the girl. The finale was... weak, but the movie itself was generally strong, and had some really amazing imagery of a brutish time in human history.
The hero certainly does his task of kicking ass tho, and there are some really cool action sequences with some sweet swordplay. Worth a watch.
