Review of Solomon Kane (2009) by Matt M — 28 Dec 2013
A hero whose damned soul can only be redeemed by rescuing a girl's life and battling a growing evil in his hometown. The film is set in the 16th century, and is mostly just the usual period adventure piece with computer videogame like visuals and seen it all time and time again plotline.
Some nice sword fighting though unfortunately outweighted by Somon Kane's lenience towards the cartoonish and exaggeration.
