Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Wiliam W — 28 May 2018

Overall I enjoyed the film a lot. While Alden is not Harrison Ford, he was easy to look at and did try to capture the spirit of Han Solo. He certainly captures the sweetness that Han can convey. The scene when he and Chewie meets is delightful.

The story could've done with a little less action and a little more backstory dialogue, I enjoyed seeing it brought to the big screen and am glad it is now part of the Star Wars canon. It is by far not the worst in the series.

I leave those honors to episodes I, II and maybe even III (although there are some good bits in Anakin going to the dark side). Overall, definitely worth seeing on the big screen.
