Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Tj S — 29 May 2018

I went into Solo with low expectations. I was one of the Star Wars fans that simply did not think a Han Solo Origin story was needed. This may have helped my overall opinion of the movie in the long run.

I really enjoyed this film and was surprised by the acting displayed. I honestly felt like Alden did a good job as Han Solo. Donald Glover did a great job as Lando and so on. The movie did drag a little towards the end but overall paced well and had a good story.

Obviously we were never going to get any BIG reveals as we were already introduced to Han and Chewey in the original series but the movie still found a way to shock me with that twist cameo in the end.

Overall I really liked this one. I didn't love it and it's not one of my favorites in the franchise but don't count it out as it is still an entertaining Star Wars flick.
