Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Eddie A — 29 May 2018

Good but not great. Not as bad as some have said. But at least its not the hateful nonsense we got from the Last Jedi. Rubbish soundtrack which is not in keeping with Star Wars. At times you do get reminded of the original Han Solo particular in the way he speaks.

But its fleeting. I like the fact that we get to see different worlds and it expands the Star Wars Universe further. L337 is just the absolute worst droid and indeed ranks with the like of Jar Jar Binks and Rose Tico as the worst characters in Star Wars movies.

Its just looks and sounds annoying. I almost clapped when... errr... never mind no spoilers. Overall, it lacks the fun and that sense of adventure of the originals. But maybe its because its the originals and still fresh and new.

Rogue One still remains the best Disney era Star Wars movie.
