Listen up. Pay no attention to the "boycott" reviews (TLJ left a terrible taste for me as well, for obvious reasons). Go see this film! It's not perfect (that's ok, no SW movie is) but its incredibly fun, perfectly cast (Alden and Donald are spot on), beautiful cinematography and most importantly delivers a tone true to its history.
As an OG fan I'm not afraid to admit this is a worthy film to the franchise. I left with a new spark of hope and inspiration for future stories. Leave your ego at the door on this one.
