Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Jose P — 29 May 2018

I saw this movie today. I avoided opening weekend to give a FKU to Kathleen and Disney for giving us the POS SW movie that shall not be named. Solo doesn't have all the glaring wtf moments as a previous SW movie and on it's own, it was fairly solid.

my major problems with it, we know solo, chewie and lando are going to survive so ... there was no OMG IS TEY GONNA DIE moments, which made the movie somewhat meh. No tension. Having said that there were no WTF why moments like the a previous movie.

I also didnt mine L3. I wanted to hate her based on other reviews but taking her as a character with those specific beliefs I had no issues. looking back, I actually like her. (spoiler) Sucks for her that her independence was stripped with out her permission, but then again maybe she preferred being a ship instead of a droid?
