I have been thinking a lot about this Star Wars situation, I think that Disney has basically 3 choices: 1. creating movies based on old characters, like bobba fett and obi wan which might not generate much interest, 2.

create movies of the main saga with the new characters which people are divided about or 3. create stories about new characters outside the saga but in the same Galaxy far far away. Now that Last Jedi has come to pass and the Skywalker era is over, instead of fighting over what happened and how it happened we should instead look forward and really think about what do we want from this franchise.

Do we want it to die? live another day? what do we want exactly. I seems that Disney has no idea about what fans want and they just create the stories they want the way they want them with political messages and all of that, instead of listening to the fans.

While this is going on, Star Wars is in deep trouble.
