Best of the new batch. Fun performances by the cast, top to bottom, and did not rely on the threadbare plot line of stopping the bad guys from getting the doomsday weapon, which always has to be even more doomsdayier in the next movie.

Alden Erhenreich was particularly good stepping into some of the biggest shoes that I can imagine. How does one deliver a fresh take on the Han Solo character without disappointing the legions of fans who - as I - could only imagine Harrison Ford in that role? IMHO, Erhenreich nailed it.

Also really liked the storyline between Han and Emilia Clarkeï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s character.
