Review of Soldier's Revenge (1986) by Chuck S — 19 Sep 2010
Watchable, though tedious at times. Good action and a semi believable story line. Even by early 80's standards the Direction falls flat on it's face. Starting from casting through shot selection this becomes a disaster.
David Worth (Director) shows he should stick to Camera Man, and leave Directing to the pros...though he is not much better at that... He also helped tank the famous AD Newt Arnold's Debut feature "Blood Sport" with his sub-par Cinematography.
When compared to other films like "First Blood" that came out around the same time it can't hold a candle...but somehow I watched it all the way through, and for what it was I rate it a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Not really bad, just not very good.
