Review of Solaris (2002) by Sanford R — 21 Nov 2008

So maybe it's not pure crap, but it's not really worth watching either. It's whiny and melodramatic. There's this weird Charles Manson-esque character who's at best irritating to hear him deliver lines.

Granted he turns out to be some kind of antagonist, but he's so tame that he poses no real threat. there's no background to George Clooney's Character. He's just told to go into space because for some reason he's the only one who can help, which as it turns out he's even worse at helping than anyone else who's been sent to help the mission.
