Review of Solaris (2002) by Zach S — 16 Jul 2008
I've secretly been in love with Natascha McElhone ever since I saw this movie a few months ago. Honestly, just try to find a prettier girl! Though not very well known, her acting in this film made me look for more of her work, and she's now one of my favourite actresses.
I'm not usually a Clooney fan, but he was decent in this one. I didn't think the rest of the actors did that great of a job though. I suggest seeing the 1972 version if you liked this, I think it's actually superior.
Due to the odd music and cinematography, this version is really cool to watch, say, at 3 AM when your mind is more easily blown.
