Review of Solaris (2002) by James T — 09 Dec 2008
An engaging and intelligent remake of the Russian original, although the focus is shifted more to Chris Kelvin's emotional pain and less to Solaris' attempts at communication. The performances are low-key and understated, and all the better for it.
Even the soundtrack is pretty cool.
