Review of Solaris (2002) by Adrienne L — 06 Feb 2009

Reviewing a remake (of sorts) is fun. I like to think for myself instead of just following suit with the ever popular trash vote. Haven't seen the original, or read the book so this was a fresh viewing for me.

I think its George Clooney's best work overall now (and yes he has a nice bum). But Natasha McElhone made the film the mysterious and engrossing film it is. The score is brillinat and the cinematography is beautiful.

Slow, but a very interesting film. I really enjoyed it a lot. Glad I own a copy for future rainy day viewings.
