Sadly, I remembered this being a lot more epic. I like that actress a lot actually, and there are some really good things in here, but as a whole it's pretty average because that ending is just like "whatever.
" It can't hold a candle to something like Eternal Sunshine, which I thought this was like...except in space but instead it's just a romance movie with some sci-fi stuff thrown in. Can't live without her, so he doesn't.
That's fine but I thought they had something really cool going on there with either aliens, or afterlife, or memory, or psychosis and they decided to play it safe instead.
