I just think too many people couldn't grasp the extremely elusive plot for this to have been rated ok. I discounted it in 2002 because I didnt like any of the actors in it namely George Clooney and the woman who plays his wife. This has some awesome scifi in it. The trailer makes it look so terrible.

Isn't. I think they probably did that to get all the Clooney fans to go see it and they probably did and then rated it poorly. If you likes scifi give it a chance.
