Review of Solaris (2002) by James R — 14 May 2014
Definitely, not going to be a movie for everyone. A remake, the film is about a doctor (played by George Clooney) who arrives at a space station orbiting the planet Solaris. Crew members have suddenly disappeared and/or killed off.
The doctor soon realizes there's more going on then he assumed. The film itself is filmed nicely, but incredibly slow. While I did like the actors I just couldn't get into it. The film explores problems people have and how they interpret and deal with their own issues.
Overall, it's worth a rent if your interested in the premise.
