Review of Solaris (2002) by Ingmar C — 24 Jul 2008
Much like a dream, when this ends you'll be thinking "Eh?!" Soderbergh must have been aiming for a '2001'-type feel, however doesn't pull off a movie half as compelling as Kubrik did.
Clooney and McElhone turn in respectable performances but I can only guess that in this case, like many others, the book is much better than the film.
