Review of Society (1989) by Dom O — 07 Jul 2008
Not quite on satira-par with Re-animator, but still contains some truely warped moments of gleefull distaste, granted it starts off like a bad american cable soap, but as it progesses it takes on a twisted and deformed narrative structure, much like its climax.
what raises it above your typical horror yarn, is the way it places us into billy warlocks shoes, seeing odd glimpses here and strange grotesque images there until the final stomach curning climax, strange , werid, cheesy, vulgar, disgustingly enjoyable.
