Review of S.O.B. (1981) by Christopher S — 21 Jun 2008
Enjoyable Hollywood satire boasts an excellent script with razor-sharp dialogue and great characters, though much of the acting is much too broad for this kind comedy - Richard Mulligan in particular goes way over the top.
In fact, the whole film has an old-fashioned feel that seems more appropriate from a slapstick comedy from the 60s than a movie from 1981. Still, one of Blake Edward's funniest films.
