A hilarious film about a Soap Opera where Sally Field plays "America's Sweetheart" whose character is threatened to be written off by one of the younger, more attractive leading ladies. Soon madness ensues as Fields old co-star and beau returns and more and more rewrites begin to happen.
Field is absolutely hilarious, with terrific supporting performances by Whoopi Goldberg, Kevin Kline, Elisabeth Shue and in a minor but memorable role Kathy Najimy as the ambitious costume designer. Definitely worth a peek!
