Review of Soaked in Bleach (2015) by Luke G — 09 Jul 2015

First time director, Benjamin Statler has done an important and much appreciated work. Although there are failings in the film, and annoyances, they are all essentially minor. I found the film very effective. Not on the same quality level of film making as Oliver Stone's JFK, for instance, but in the same vein. The subject matter, and the courage of the filmmaker are deserving of a perfect score. Any true fan of Nirvana will already know that his death needs to be properly investigated. To say the case needs to be "re-opened" is almost wrong, as it essentially was never opened in the first place.

Much like Natalie Wood's death, appropriate justice will likely never happen on this earth. There are an overwhelming amount of facts that point towards Courtney Love as a person of interest in a murder conspiracy, and the cops couldn't care less. The media is a sham, the critics' negative reviews are unjustified, they ignore glaring facts brought to light, and give it a negative score because the suicide narrative is their bread and butter. They are uninterested in any facts or ideas that stray from the official myth.

if you'll notice the negative reviews from the audience are generally from accounts that no longer exist, hmm. This film scratches the surface, but there is too much dirt on Courtney to cover in a single film. Kurt Cobain was the greatest musician of our generation. The case needs to be reopened immediately. Put Courtney Love behind bars!
