Fun little film from the 90's where a young Mike Meyers is a funny, charismatic, and artistic bachelor who cannot seem to commit to a steady relationship. Eventually, he meets Nancy Travis, a butcher, whom he falls in loves with and is desperate to stay with her but is conflicted as he is nearly certain that she is a psychopathic serial killer that kills her husbands on their honeymoons.

There's a nice small-scale comedy feel to this film, without it going on crazy with big budgets and one-trick jokes like the Austin Powers and Shreks have become. Meyers is funny in this film, especially whenever he shows up as his father, who is a brutish and insulting Scottish drunk! This is a fun watch, and brings back great memories of the early 90's.

Also, there is a lot of San Franciscan culture shown throughout the film that really made it look and feel authentic. Look for some funny cameos from Steven Wright and Charles Grodin.
