Review of So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993) by First L — 21 Feb 2010

This is one of the funniest, cleverest comedies I've ever seen. It starts off a bit slowly and one wonders where it is going, but there is a point to it all. The surprise ending really ties together all the mysterious little threads that are developed as the movie rolls along.

I wish I could give it two 100% rankings (the other for my wife who does not write reviews but who nonetheless also loved it), but one will have to do. By the way, this role is a huge step up for Mike Myers, whose other more salacious characters in other more famous movies have largely left me cold.
