Review of Snowpiercer (2013) by Megan R — 02 Jan 2015
The best things about this film were: the end credits (because you know it's over, then); and the fact that the subtitles were mis-timed so they appeared at wildly inappropriate points, yet still had a beautiful sense of irony (thank you, NetFlix). Other than that, the message was heavy-handed, as if they kept digging and digging and just couldn't make the message deep enough. "We're almost to the earth's core, guys! Keep making it deeper!".
Also, could have used more ax-murdering.
