Review of Snowpiercer (2013) by Critically G — 21 May 2015
A bleak film set in a dystopian future where the world has been plunged into perpetual winter. The Only way to survive, it seems, is to be continuously on the move, on a train. Setting aside the almost unbelievable premise, and the over blown action scenes, the film offers a novel take on the dystopian narrative.
The train replaces the city, offering numerous subplots along with an interesting dimension. Overall, this film will leave you with a need for sunshine by the end of it.
