Review of Snowden (2016) by Dana C — 13 Sep 2016
There are far too few willing to stand up for what is right, Ed Snowden is one who risked everything to do the right thing. He refused to stay silent when he saw the wholesale spying of average Americans through sophisticated technology and with the complicity of big corporations who went along with a gross violation of privacy.
Stone handles the story with just the right touch. Joseph Gordon Levitt is convincing as a super smart, conflicted man faced with decisions most mere mortals will never face in their lifetimes.
