Joseph Gordon-Levitt is great as Edward Snowden. The topic couldn't be more important. I tend to agree with the WaPo Sunday editorial that the answer lies somewhere between hero and villain, but this one sided bio pic is designed to have you lean all the way to hero with an emotionally impactful ending that is impressive to watch.
