Review of Snowden (2016) by Ca Cougar M — 19 Sep 2016
What could have been a great movie ended up being a good movie.all of the performances are great. especially Joseph Gordon Levitt and Shailene Woodley. some of the camera work by Oliver Stone was brilliant. And had me smiling cause I had never seen anything like it. look for a scene with a Rubics Cube and a sim card. Where the movie falters for me is that it is too long. cut off anywhere from 10 to fifteen minutes of the movie and it is improved. And with a charcter and a director who are both very controversial in their own rights, this movie played it awfully safe and was just a standard biopic with one question asked. overall o liked the movie, and I can recommend it for people who are interested, but hardcore Oliver Stone fans may be dissapointed.
6/10.
