Review of Snowden (2016) by Katrina K — 25 Sep 2016
I loved this film; it goes against the grain of what the mass media had portrayed Edward Snowden as when the story broke. It tells story; what he saw and what lead him to do what he did. I find that fascinating.
I also love that this film was borderline performance documentary through the use of archival footage, images of the real Edward Snowden, etc. I personally loved this film because, before I saw it I saw him as the "traitor" the media had painted him to be.
But after watching the movie and understanding his life story and what he witnessed, my mind was changed and now I have a lot of respect for him.
