Review of Snowden (2016) by Coralie M — 26 Sep 2016
This was a great movie. I felt really sorry for Snowden, always believing the doctors. That reasoning behind his broken legs in the movie was completely bogus.
Also his girlfriend seemed to be CIA to me. That knowing look she gave him, just before his first collapse due to 'epilepsy'? She dosed him.
I feel sorry for him that he has had her join him in Russia.
Why does everybody like the idea that they're under surveillance?
I thought the movie lacked some momentum, particularly when they focused on the relationship. I would have liked to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt at work more rather than with that dead end relationship. You just know that she brought better epilepsy medicine with her to Russia when she reunited with him. How do you get medicine for something like that if you don't have the condition yourself?
