People, let's be honest. Just because "Snow White" is the first animated movie ever made doesn't mean it's great. Animation - and Disney in particular - had a very long way to go.
For one thing, "Snow White", like many early Disney films, is extremely unbalanced with its constant shifts between nightmare-inducing darkness and sickingly sweet cuteness. Another thing is that its titular herione (if you can even call her that) is a highly annoying and feeble goody two-shoes.
