Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Jussi V — 22 May 2010
The leap from Steamboat Willie to Snow White in mere 9 years is almost unbelievable. The film is stunningly beautiful, especially on blu-ray. The story is what it is (simple), but at least it is not watered down like some later Disney adaptations of fairy tales.
The witch-queen is profoundly scary.
