Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Max D — 25 Jun 2010
While it's not among my favorite of Disney animated movies, it is classic and was a great work of Disney. Adapting the story of a fairy tale and making it entertaining with Snow White a character who takes shelter with the Dwarfs.
The artwork is well done for its time, and this was before the time when Disney putting cute like funny sidekicks into the story (like Mushu from Mulan, Timon/Pumba from Lion King, etc.) and this story is a class fairy tale just turned into an animated musical movie.
I think everyone knows the Song "Hi Ho, Hi Ho", probably by heart cause it's a classic childhood melody. Though I will admit it can be a bit boring if you watch it too many times. While a Disney classic I don't think it's perfect, but it is a children's movie and children should and will love and remember it like I have.
