Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Douglas E — 06 Oct 2010
Disney's first animated feature is not as perfect as you have been told but it's still an innovative and near timeless accomplishment. Like many disney films to come, the villian steals the show with the Queen being absolutely terrifying.
Speaking of terrifying that run through the haunted woods reminds one of a time when Disney cartoons had plenty of horror to go along with the jokes. It's just too bad that Snow White herself is probably the most annoying and even offensive portrayal of a princess in any Disney film ever.
Her voice is just as annoying as her characterization too!
