Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by James O — 16 May 2011
It's really hard to rate a movie like this. First off its an instant Disney Classic. It was the first Disney Full Length movie and it was leaps and bounds over every other animation back in 1937. I watched this movie countless times as a kid and for a movie that is nearly 75 years old...it has stood the test of time.
Overall, everyone should know the story of Snow White. It's a very simple story where in all actuality not much happens. The dwarves are who stand out the most to me in this film. They are the most comical and provide the most laughs.
Walt Disney knew what he was doing. Snow White is a classic and deserves to be seen by anyone one of any age if they've never seen it.
