Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Sergio B — 29 May 2011
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfsâ¦the one that started it all. Now, I really didnâ(TM)t watch this one much growing up (princesses were for girls then), but I have grown to love it. The history behind this film is rich, with the trails to overcome from the studio and the public.
Who could pull it off? Only Walt Disney could. If this had failed, we wouldnâ(TM)t have any other classics. Snow White is a marvel in animation with painted images that still havenâ(TM)t been overthrown, music that will make you swoon, and a sweet ending that will stand the test of time.
