Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Andre B — 14 Sep 2011
The studios laughed calling it "Disney's Folly," his brother and wife tried to talk him out of it, but when it was released, Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" took the world by storm, and even today, almost 75 years after it's initial screening, it is still a masterwork of not just animation, but storytelling and music.
My personal favorite of all of the "Disney Princess" films made prior to the "Disney Renaissance," this film is a treasure well-deserving of its praise.
