Time changes things, but real art is appreciated no matter what its age. This, the first full length animated film, began a cinematic mainstay that will not be forgotten, yet its value to an audience has only slightly diminished.
In the well crafted retelling of the fair-skinned princess and her escape from her jealous cougar of a stepmother, Walt Disney definitely got it right on the first try. Inventive animated sequences that range from joyous to hilarious to terrifying are littered throughout this memorable picture.
