Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Melyssa A — 08 Mar 2012
Look at all the crap we watch today. We put up with Family Guy, pointless Cartoon Network shows(New ones, other than Adventure Time), and really bizarre South Park episodes. Has anyone, however, sat down and compared this and those shows back to back?
To start, it is an adaptation that...doesn't insult. It may water down a few things(meaning a lot of things), but it makes up for it with its own dark elements. For example, when the Evil Queen is saying Snow White will still be alive after eating the apple, she implies Snow White may be BURIED ALIVE! Really, imagine if more villains threatened the hero like THAT!
