Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Aodhan R — 27 Jul 2014
An unforgettable achievement in cinematic history, Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a movie of its time that set a new era in filmmaking, and became the very first major feature length animated movie.
The tale follows Snow White, a beautiful princess, who flees from her kingdom to seek refuge in the woods beyond the kingdom. She then meets seven adorable and insanely funny dwarfs, whom she decides to live with.
Snow White fled her homeland after learning that her stepmother, the Queen, desired nothing greater than for her dear stepdaughter to be killed. The Queen made this evil decision after she received word from the Magic Mirror that Snow White obtains the fairest beauty of them all.
The Queen is jealous and is persistent in finding Snow White and killing her, herself. Snow White is an extraordinary tale and remains - happily ever after - a true classic and unforgettable! The many talented Artists that helped make this movie possible deserve all the credit in the world, as it was misbelieved to be made at the time.
