Review of Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) by John D — 10 May 2013
Poor Pacing, a terrible casting choice for Snow White in Kristen Stewart, but if you are a sucker for medievil Hollywood Blockbusters with all their great sets and big budget special effects, you will enjoy Snow White.
Despite horrible pacing and some other glaring problems that are, if you dwell on them, laughable, there is stuff to like here. For instance, Charlize Theron is AWESOME in this movie. Her scenes are ALMOST good enough to save the movie and is one scary, vain, evil bitch.
As for Hemsworth, he looks like a true ranger straight out of Dungeons and Dragons, so you can't fault him for doing his best in a role that requires pretty much that and not much more. He's charming enough, but Kristen Stewart always looks so bitchy next to him you just wonder why she was Snow White.
Then again, who would you have cast?
