"SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN".

- 'Snow White and the Huntsman' is a 2012 fantasy-adventure and formed the directorial debut for Rupert Sanders, based upon the fairytale by the brothers Grimm. We all know the story, so don't expect many changes, but I thought the film was pretty okay. The effects and intensity were good. It's of course a bit hard to see part Bella Swan when we watch Kristen Stewart (Zathura, Twilight saga) perform. She had a lot of mixed opinions. Also starring are Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Cabin in the Woods), Charlize Theron (Prometheus, Monster),Sam Claflin (Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides) Bob Hoskins (Hook, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? , Ray Winstone (The Departed, Noah) and Toby Jones (Hunger Games saga, Red Lights).

When King Magus decides to marry the beautiful Ravenna (Theron), who he rescued from an invading Dark Army, young Snow White is excited with her new stepmother. But during the wedding night, Ravenna reveals herself as the leader of the Dark Army, kills the King and takes over the whole castle. Only Duke Hammond and his son William were able to escape. Snow White (Stewart) is imprisoned for years, until the day she is able to escape.

She flees into the Dark Forrest, where few men dare to enter. Ravenna makes a deal with huntsman Eric (Hemsworth): if he finds the girl, she will bring back his deceased wife back to life. With a group of soldiers, Eric is able to locate Snow White. But then he realizes that the men accompanying him have orders to kill him. Together with Snow White, he makes a run for it. When travelling further, they come across a group of Dwarves, including the blind Muir (Hoskins), bad-tempered Gort (Winstone) and Coli (Jones).

In the meantime, William who always blamed himself for not being able to rescue Snow White, learns that his childhood friend is still alive. He swears to do everything in his power to find her...
