Review of Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) by Michelle P — 17 Nov 2014

This film had all the ingredients to be a classic by taking a Disney classic & turning it into a dark tale & mixing in LOTR elements but sadly it's undone by a confusing script, uneven acting & terrible accents (hands up Chris Hemsworth who sounded like a winded Gerrard Butler).

It's a decent twist on the original as an evil queen requires Snow White's heart to remain in eternal youth & reign forever. But the very man who was ordered to hunt Snow White winds up becoming her protector & mentor in a quest to vanquish the evil queen.
