Review of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan (2011) by Elizabeth T — 31 Mar 2012
Maybe as a woman, I see this film differently than some of the reviewers who are men. From almost the very beginning, I was emotionally engrossed and intellectually involved in the story. The two women were wonderful, believable and beautiful.
There was a sensitivity not seen to often in American films about women. In addition, the visuals were wonderful and fades back and forth kept the story involving and intriguing.
