Review of Snow Falling on Cedars (1999) by Codie E — 12 Nov 2007
A good serious and sober film. The story is important without being too weighty and the cast are a real treat with particularly good performances from Hawke, Richard Jenkins and especially Max Von Sydow who has so much gravitas.
All of this aside Robert Richardson is the real star of the film, his cinematography is magical.
