VERY nice film about prejudice and lasting love. The performances were very good - I rather liked Youki Kudoh's performance as Hatsue, and Max Von Sydow is the coolest person of all time just for giving an amazing monologue in one shot.
The cinematography is GORGEOUS. I would strongly reccomend this one.
